The pieces we make in olive trees come from old tree pruning, from different parts of the tree, from the main trunk to the thinner branches that in the olive tree are highly resistant and that we position in different ways, so that they are lamps, tables, wine cellars or other objects and continue to remind us of trees and their importance in our lives.

Olive tree lamps
These olive tree hanging lamps and olive branch floor lamp are ready to find your new home and live happily ever after!
They were created with the raw material that we have available in our workshop, which we have been collecting over the 15 years where we lived and work here.
In this case, all the pieces are made of olive trees, from different parts of the tree and of different ages: a branch, a part of an old tree and a tree divided in half.

20 years later
A long redesign.
We started DE RAIZ Design as a family run business more than 20 years ago. Craving to live surrounded by nature we moved with our three kids to the Alentejo in the south of Portugal. It was the best choice we could have done because our children were raised aware and conscious of the importance of living a sustainable life, honouring Nature blessings.
Structure enables flexibility.
20 years later, our business process evolved to large scale and we are able to embrace large interior design projects. Our products even though exclusive (each one is never exactly the same because we are using natural raw wood), follows a constant procedure for greatness structural delivery.
